Sneak Peak: Introducing The Edge of Work Podcast
My latest project exploring what's new and next in attracting and retaining talent, growing and developing leaders, and workplace culture
Hi everyone,
As readers of this newsletter will know, I enjoy reading, writing, researching and talking about the workplace, and finding ways to make it better. So much so that I’ve decided to launch another channel to continue the conversation around it.
I’m excited to share that I just launched my newest podcast, The Edge of Work.
This is a podcast that covers new ideas and insights on modern workplace trends including attracting and retaining talent, workplace culture, and developing people and organizations.
I’ll speak with operators, research and experts to explore ideas that can make work “work” for more people, and cultivate environments that bring out the best in human potential.
The first three episodes in season 1 are now live, and the season features some incredible guests, ranging from founders of companies trying to build solutions and tech that improve the career/employee experience to researcher and authors who are studying new ways of thinking and working about developing talent.
Since this is a new podcast, I would love to know what you think, and encourage you to listen in, and let me know what you like, what resonates, and what you think I can improve upon.
Take a listen to the first three episodes featuring:
🔈 David Fano, Founder of Teal, on the challenges (and opportunities!) on building the tools and infrastructure of career exploration and development —> Listen Here
🔈 Corey Kossack Founder of Aspireship, on career onramps, and upskilling and onboarding professionals into in-demand roles like sales and customer success —> Listen Here
🔈 Shana Lebowitz Gaynor, Author of Don’t Call it Quits: Turn The Job You Have Into The Job You Love on the expansive opportunities for career changes in today’s modern workplace —> Listen Here
I hope you’ll listen in, and would love to hear what you think. Shoot me an email with your feedback (alex dot dea at gmail dot com)
Thank you!
Al
